Troubleshooting Common Issues

Button not showing

1. Confirm Automatic Display is enabled for the content type.
2. On Posts, check Show Buttons On and Post Types. With Singular enabled, only the selected post types get the button (default: Posts). Pages need page added under Post Types.
3. Check Hide Automatic Display On (home, archives, search, etc.).
4. Check Disable assets on page types under General settings.
5. Clear your page cache and CDN cache.

Using Display Automation [pro]? Turn Automatic Display off for that type to avoid conflicts, and remember Singular Pages only matches the main queried item — not related-post loops.

Counts not updating

1. Enable Site uses caching in General settings if you use LiteSpeed, WP Rocket, or similar.
2. Run Sync counters from Tools → Maintenance (Pro).
3. Check for JavaScript errors in the browser console.
4. If you recently finished a Pulse upgrade, purge full-page cache and confirm Tools → Site Health shows storage healthy.

Database & storage health

1. Open WP ULike → Overview and review the database / storage cards. Use Repair tables if tables are missing.
2. Open Tools → Site Health → Status for WP ULike checks: database tables, storage & migration, old log tables.
3. Existing sites migrating to Pulse: follow Storage Upgrade. CLI: Pulse WP-CLI.

License issues (Pro)
