Manage License Activations
View activations, move your license between sites, and understand site limits and subdomains.
Each WP ULike Pro plan allows a fixed number of live site activations. Staging and development URLs on recognized domains usually do not count — see Staging & Development Sites.
View activations in WordPress
The License page shows how many sites are using your key (for example, "1 of 1 sites used"). Each unique production site URL counts as one activation.
Deactivate on this site
To free a slot or prepare to move your license:
- Go to WP ULike → License.
- Click Deactivate License.
- Activate on the new site with the same key.
Deactivating on one site clears the local activation but does not cancel your purchase or subscription.
Move your license to another domain
Your license key stays the same — you only change which URL is registered.
From your WP ULike account
- Log in at My Account.
- Open the Licenses tab and find your WP ULike Pro license.
- Click Connected sites.
- Remove the old site (trash icon next to the URL you no longer use).
- Enter your new site URL (e.g.
https://newsite.com) and click Add site. - On the new WordPress site, go to WP ULike → License and activate with the same key if it is not already active there.
Site limit: Each plan allows a fixed number of unique sites. You must remove an old site before adding a new one if you are at the limit. Moving domains is for real site changes — not for running the same license on many live sites at once.
Tip: Use the full URL with https://. The site does not need to be publicly live for you to register it here.
From WordPress only
If you prefer not to use the account dashboard:
- Deactivate on the old site.
- Activate on the new site with the same key.
Subdomains
A license is required for each subdomain, unless that subdomain matches a recognized staging pattern:
dev.*(e.g.dev.example.com)staging.*(e.g.staging.example.com)
www.example.com and example.com are treated as separate URLs. Plan your activations accordingly.
Staging without using a slot
If your staging URL matches the allowed development domains, you can activate Pro there without consuming a production slot.
Alternatively, deactivate on your live site, activate on staging while you work, then move the license back when you are done.
Manage activations online
From My Account → Licenses you can also:
- See all connected URLs
- Remove unused sites to free slots
- Download the plugin and view invoices from the license card
