Third-Party Integrations
BuddyPress, bbPress, WPML, WooCommerce, EDD, caching, myCRED, Ultimate Member, and gamification.
Official integrations
BuddyPress & bbPress
Native content type groups under Settings. See BuddyPress & bbPress settings.
Pro adds Display Automation placements for activity streams, activity comments, and forum topics — plus deeper statistics reports.
WPML
Enable WPML synchronization under Posts settings to keep like counts in sync across translated posts.
Pro profile permalinks respect WPML language prefixes via a dedicated filter.
WooCommerce (Pro)
- Display Automation — single product, shop loop, and product review placements
- Statistics → WooCommerce intelligence — engagement vs orders, top products, revenue correlation (when WC is active)
- HPOS compatible — works with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage
- Enable product or review buttons under Content Types or Display Automation first
Easy Digital Downloads (Pro)
Display Automation includes EDD presets:
- Single download pages
- Download shop grids
- Custom hook placement for EDD templates
Use the same rule engine as WooCommerce — conditions, templates, and likers box per rule.
Caching plugins
Enable Site uses caching under General settings so WP ULike purges vote-related cache on each vote.
Tested with:
- WP Rocket · LiteSpeed Cache · W3 Total Cache · WP Super Cache · WP Fastest Cache
- WP Optimize · Kinsta · SiteGround Optimizer · Swift Performance · Flying Press · Nitropack · Cache Enabler · Hummingbird · Endurance Page Cache
Gamification & points
myCRED
Award or deduct points when users like, unlike, dislike, or undislike content on WordPress posts, comments, BuddyPress, and bbPress.
References in myCRED: wp_add_like, wp_get_like, wp_add_unlike, wp_get_unlike, plus Pro dislike references.
GamiPress
Install GamiPress and enable its WP ULike integration module to award achievements or points on vote events.
AutomatorWP
Trigger automations when users vote — combine with Pro profiles and forms for onboarding flows.
Membership & profiles
Ultimate Member
The classic WP Ulike Widget supports Ultimate Member profile URLs for "most liked" lists.
Pro public profiles ([wp_ulike_pro_completeness_profile]) are a separate front-end profile system — you can use both on the same site for different purposes.
Page builders
Elementor (Pro)
Seven widgets: Posts Button, Counter, Most Liked Posts/Comments/Activities/Topics, Best Likers.
See Elementor Widgets.
Gutenberg (free)
ULike Button and Top List blocks — no Pro-only block, but Pro unlocks dislike sort and premium templates in the block editor.
Theme compatibility
WP ULike auto-display hooks into standard WordPress content filters (the_content, comment_text, BuddyPress/bbPress hooks).
Custom themes may need manual shortcode, block, or Display Automation hook placement. See Hooks & Filters for template and display filters.
REST API consumers (Pro)
Headless sites and custom apps can read/write votes via the Pro REST API. Enable under Tools → REST API.
See REST API reference.
